Les dimensions externes de la funda són 230 mm x 110 mm x 45 mm. L’espai intern és lleugerament menor pel gruix del material. Inclou un compartiment de malla per guardar accessoris petits, com cables de càrrega o auriculars. No té prou espai per guardar adaptadors grans ni bases de càrrega externes.

La cremallera està dissenyada per evitar el contacte directe amb la consola gràcies a una solapa interior. Tanmateix, és recomanable tancar la funda a poc a poc per evitar pessigar fundes protectores addicionals que porti la consola. No s’han reportat problemes de desgast prematur en condicions d’ús normal.

Per a una major durabilitat, es recomana netejar la funda amb un drap humit, evitar submergir-la en aigua i no exposar-la a temperatures superiors a 60 °C, ja que el material EVA es pot deformar. La coberta ofereix protecció bàsica contra pluges lleugeres, però no és submergible ni apta per a exposicions prolongades al sol intens.
