El contingut és un polímer acrílic monocomponent en presentació d’esprai. L’envàs estàndard sol contenir 400 ml, tot i que poden existir variants; habitualment fa uns 20 cm d’alçada i 6 cm de diàmetre. El pes total de l’aerosol (incloent-hi l’envàs) és d’aproximadament 450 g. A la caixa s’hi inclou només el pot d’esprai, sense accessoris.

Plasticote 80 és dielèctric, per tant aïlla elèctricament. S’ha d’evitar aplicar-lo sobre connectors, terminals o zones que hagin de mantenir conductivitat. Per obtenir millors resultats, apliqueu capes fines i uniformes, deixant un assecat inicial entre mans. En punts de prova o soldadura, es pot retirar el producte mecànicament si cal.

La capa resultant no requereix un manteniment específic. Si cal reparar la placa, el recobriment es pot retirar amb dissolvents com l’acetona o mitjançant un raspat acurat sense danyar components. Es recomana comprovar la compatibilitat amb plàstics. És important eliminar les restes segons la normativa ambiental vigent.
