No es recomana fer-les servir amb cargols danyats per evitar deformació ni sotmetre-les a cops d’impacte directes.

El producte, per la seva tipologia, no requereix certificació obligatòria, però l’acer Cr-V sovint s’aplica d’acord amb normes EN/ISO 10665-1 per a eines manuals. La reposició depèn del fabricant, però molts proveïdors ofereixen garantia limitada (defectes de fabricació) i possibilitat d’adquirir broques soltes compatibles. Es recomana consultar-ho amb el distribuïdor postvenda per assegurar-ho.
