Cada relé suporta fins a 10 A a 250 V CA o 10 A a 30 V CC, equivalent a una càrrega màxima recomanada de 2500 W en alterna o 300 W en contínua per canal. És fonamental no superar aquests límits per preservar la vida útil i la seguretat del mòdul.

Què inclou el paquet i quines són les dimensions físiques del mòdul?

El paquet inclou la placa amb quatre relés, el mòdul WiFi ESP-01 i els connectors. La placa fa 60 mm x 63 mm. No s’hi inclouen cables d’alimentació ni carcassa protectora. El pes aproximat és de 75 g.

És compatible amb voltatges d’alimentació diferents de 12 V i què passa si es connecta a 5 V?

El mòdul està dissenyat per a alimentació de 12 V a l’entrada IN+/IN-. Alimentar-lo amb 5 V farà que els relés no actuïn correctament i pot impedir el funcionament de l’ESP-01. Es desaconsella per evitar danys o un funcionament erràtic.

Què passa si hi ha una caiguda o tall de corrent? Es perd la configuració WiFi?

El mòdul utilitza tecnologia Smartconfig per configurar i desar a la memòria la informació WiFi. Després d’un tall de corrent, la configuració es conserva, de manera que no cal tornar-la a configurar tret que es faci un reinici total.

Aquest mòdul incorpora quatre aïlladors òptics i díodes de protecció a cada canal, cosa que redueix els riscos per interferències electromagnètiques i pics de corrent. Això el situa en avantatge respecte a mòduls econòmics sense optoacobladors, especialment en entorns industrials o amb motors.
